How Do I Get The Fastest Possible Results?

Get ready to Bring It! and get in the best shape of your life! If you’ve ever started a workout program…P90X, CrossFit, a local boot camp (or ANY home, gym or outdoor/athletic workout routine)…tried and quit at week 3 or 7 or whatever, or even if you workout LIKE CRAZY but are just not seeing results, there is absolutely NO BETTER WAY than doing it with a Team Triumph Coach guiding and motivating you along the way…and having a PLAN. My experience as a P90X Certified Trainer and Diamond Team Beachbody Coach has been that unless you’re totally self-motivated and have read a ton of stuff about nutrition (and follow it), there really is no better way to do get in shape than by joining a Team Triumph Challenge Group. Support is crucial, and I wish I’d had some when I first started a couple of years ago! It’s so much easier to make it through the tough days when you know a bunch of your friends are going through the same thing and there is no way you’re going to let them, yourself (or your coach) down. Here are some tips to help you speed up and maximize your results: WORKOUTS: Plan! Know what your next workout is going to be and mark it on your calendar. Whether you’re on day one or week 10, mark it on your calendar! Commit! Getting truly fit is not a once- or twice-a-week thing! If you want results, you’ve got to Bring It! 5 to 6 days a week. Fitness isn’t a diet or a fad…it’s a lifestyle. Register! You need to be a member of Team Triumph to participate in any FREE Team Triumph Challenge Group. Get your FREE  account HERE, log your workouts, and keep track of what you’ve accomplished and what’s ahead. Take Measurements and Photos! You need to record where you started to at the end you can see how far you’ve come. Trust me. DO THIS. You’ll thank me later. To learn more about HOW, click HERE. Get Plugged In! Of course it’s optional, but I highly recommend you request to join one of our online, private Facebook Challenge Groups…NOTHING beats them for support, tips, encouragement and accountability. Measuring Your Success – Preparing for Day 1

So you’re about to start a new Beachbody program or Challenge? You’ve ordered your program (or found a dusty copy of P90X in the back of your closet), and now you’re ready to Bring It! The first thing you need to do is to prepare for success. How will you know how far you’ve come in 30, 60 or 90 days from now if you don’t take the time to record where you started? The changes happening to your body over the course of any new workout routine are both gradual and subtle…and since we see ourselves in the mirror every day, it’s hard to perceive them. That’s where recording your weight and measurements, and taking before, during and after pictures comes in. These are ESSENTIAL. Not only are they for YOU, but once you’ve achieved success in your health and fitness and want to pay it forward by helping others to get in the best shape of their lives, there’s no better way to show friends how you’ve been where they are and overcame the same obstacles. Here’s a video from Beachbody to provide a little instruction on how to take your photographs:   Also, print these out and record your “Before” stats on Day 1 and then again every 30 days. You are also going to want to measure your body fat percentage. Here’s a helpful link to learn HOW. Body Fat Calipers can be purchased inexpensively online at Amazon.com or a number of other sources. Your local gym can also probably check this for you as well. Good luck. Now get ready to Bring It!...

5 Keys to Success

5 Keys to Success

What are my 5 keys to success? (1) Faith. Life was very tough for me a few years ago. I was unhappy with my job, struggling with my relationships, and no where near where I needed to be with my health and fitness. I came to a point where I realized that I was simply following the wrong path. Life’s “hamster wheel” had taken over…one day blended into the next, and I wasn’t GOING anyplace. I rarely did what my “gut” was telling me, choosing instead to follow the safe and easier path. I remember praying for help and change. It wasn’t until I actually allowed myself to be guided by my Faith that my life actually began to change. Instead of fighting against things, I try to go with the flow, and do what feels right. Doing P90X and the complete lifestyle change that came with it has enabled me to have a huge impact not only on my own life, but on the lives of others. I feel like I’m finally doing what I’m supposed to be doing, making a difference in the world. I try to remind myself often that, “The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering.” (Bruce Lee) (2) Support. Without the support of my family and friends, I would not have achieved the success I have had in my fitness. My wife was the catalyst to setting me on the right path. She and my children have been here to support me 100% of the way in my journey. I’m where I am today because of them. If you don’t have support from your family and friends, your journey is going to be a much tougher one than it needs to be. (3) Accountability. Accountability is crucial to your success! If you don’t have someone (…or many someones…) there to make sure you’re on track, your chances of succeeding drop drastically unless you’re a highly self-motivated individual. My coach, Wayne Wyatt, played a huge role in helping me succeed with my fitness transformation because he was always right there to answer my questions, keep me accountable, and just be there to support me. Now that I’m a coach, I’m helping others do the same. (Click here to make me your coach.) (4) Commitment. Committing yourself to a clean, healthy nutrition and workout program every single day is challenging, but if you want to achieve results and change your life, then you really need to commit yourself 110%. During my first “real” round of P90X, I stuck to the nutrition plan and NEVER skipped a workout. That’s the reason I got the results I...
